Here i am, back in Minneapolis, still not knowing exactly what i'll be doing.
The trip here was definatly Aaron- style... up and running for well over 40 hours strait and more than 1200 miles covered. I live for that.
I landed here and have had a couple of relaxing days with my brother and his wife and my nephew. I've been grateful to spend quality time with them. Josh is doing or saying something new every day.
I'll try to keep giving updates when i find out what the next step is. Till then, i'll sign out... later

moving right along
Ok i haven't written anything here for a while again. What can i say, it's not my strong point.
New news: i'm moving next week. My time here at Youth With A Mission Ozarks has come to an end. I'll be back here to visit from time to time, but for now i'm headed back to Minneapolis.
I've got a whole new challenge in front of me. God's told me that He wants me to help start something like a youth center. I'm not sure exactly what all will be involved, but it's God's idea so it'll be cool.

What?!... It's over?
Yep, it's over and done. The very first school at YWAM Ozarks ever just finished up last evening. A couple of the "former students" have left already. A couple more will leave a little later on this morning.
One of them, Shoshanna, has decided to stay on staff for the summer. That's good because we need all the help we can get around here. She is planning on attending the next school we have here which will be the "school of biblical studies".
As of now, Heather is thinking about coming back to staff the next dts. Brint is off and running doing things like attending weddings, seeing old and new friends, and waiting for a school to start at University of the Nations Kona (ibc or introduction to biblical counseling)
Rachel is picking up as many shifts as she can at Hueys (where she worked in Memphis before she came here). And Sarah is jumping in with both feet to counseling at summer camp where she's from in Michigan. She too is planning on taking another school down the road (...Photography in Amsterdam?)
Jonathan and Caroline, the leaders, will be spending countless hours this summer on follow- up stuff and "continued communication" for the students. Their goal is to not just fill these students heads with information and turn them loose, but to follow up with them and help them process the things they've learned.
Any way, it's crazy how fast the last six months have gone. Personally, i'm looking forward to staffing the next dts here which will start around the middle of December. Until then, i'm staying crazy busy trying to keep the grounds looking good and keep things fixed and working.

Almost everything i own is here in Ozark now. One thing that i'm glad to have again is my skateboard. Guess i missed that thing more than i thought. It's been a long time (Jan. '93) since i used to skate, and i've only been on it a couple times since then. I feel like a kid again as i attempt to ollie over one deck or jump off a couple steps. I don't remember it being this much of a work out.

Thanks everybody
Hey everybody, you should buy a random shirt. The deal is that I get a small percentage of the sale if it's purchased from the link on my page. Everybody wins... you get a brand new shirt, and you also help support me as a missionary. Every little bit of cash helps me out. So please at least check out the site.
If you don't need a new shirt you can just send the money to me directly. Be sure to follow the instructions on the $&% link if you'd like a tax break, that also can benefit you.
Another way that you can help me out financially is to simply click on those google ads that you'll find at the top of every page. It's completely free to you and I get a few cents of commission for every click on my page.
I just want to say that I appreciate all the support I've had so far, I can't do this job without help from everybody. This is still a new concept for me, working for a non-profit organization. I haven't been doing this for very long but I've already started seeing positive results. Check out the dts link and all of the students links for the details.
Thank you.

Smiling Politely
If you're a Simpsons fan, you might remember the episode where Homer is talking to Billy Corigan. Billy introduces himself to Homer as "Billy Corigan, Smashing Pumpkins" and Homer introduces himself to Billy as "Homer Simpson, Smiling Politely." Could that be where this band got their name from?... Cast your votes now.

Stem Min

You should take a couple minutes to check out my newest link- stem. This is a non profit organization that is going all over the world to help and serve less fortunate people. This organization has been built by people who volunteer themselves because they believe what they are doing is right. I know some of these volunteers personally and can vouch for their lifestyles. They are the same at home as they are at work and out in public. I can't say enough good about them.

I've been getting some video footage lately. I'm undertaking making a promotional video for future schools here on the Ozark Campus. I don't have experience so it'll be trial and error, on the job training, the way I've learned most other things. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out. It's been fun so far.
If anyone out there has any equipment or money they could donate for the cause, that would be cool. Click on the $&% and contact links for more information.

Freedom
It's amazing what forgiveness can do. Forgiving and being forgiven are a couple of the greatest pay-offs you'll ever experience. Sometimes it's hard to humble yourself enough to apologize to someone. In the same way, sometimes it hard to accept forgiveness for something you don't think you deserve. Let me tell you from experience, it's well worth it. No matter how difficult it seems at the time, it's worth it. I recommend it.

Oops
Technology got the best of me earlier today. I lost my title page... gone, erased from existence. Fortunately, my buddie, J Bizzy was here to help me get it back up and running. So here it is, the new and improved Life In The Hills. Enjoy
